A heavy, block-driven slab serif with broad proportions and compact counters. Strokes are largely uniform, with thick, squared slabs that read as slightly bracketed and occasionally notched, giving some terminals an ink-trap-like bite. Curves are full and rounded (notably in O/C/S), while joins and shoulders stay chunky and compressed, reinforcing a dense, high-impact texture. The lowercase shows a tall x-height and simplified forms with short ascenders/descenders, keeping lines tight and very dark in text settings. Numerals follow the same weight and width, with wide, stable bowls and strong horizontal feet where applicable.

Best suited to display typography: headlines, posters, large labels, and brand marks that need immediate punch. It can also work for short subheads, pull quotes, and packaging callouts where a sturdy, vintage-leaning slab serif is desirable. For extended reading, it will be most comfortable when set larger with generous tracking and leading.

The tone is confident and emphatic, with a collegiate and mid-century advertising flavor. Its thick slabs and compact inner spaces project toughness and warmth at the same time, making it feel friendly but assertive. Overall it communicates a no-nonsense, attention-grabbing voice suited to bold statements rather than subtlety.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum impact with a friendly, retro slab-serif attitude—pairing wide, weighty forms with distinctive slab terminals for memorable signage and headline use. The tall x-height and simplified lowercase suggest a focus on legibility and presence in short, bold lines rather than delicate text refinement.

In longer samples the color becomes extremely saturated, so spacing and line breaks matter to avoid a solid block of black. The distinctive slab terminals and occasional notches add character at display sizes, while very small sizes may lose interior detail in tight counters.
