A crisp serif typeface with noticeably flared stems and wedge-like, bracketed terminals that give strokes a subtly calligraphic swell. The design shows moderate stroke modulation, with smooth curves and clean joins, and a balanced mix of sharp points (notably in V/W/X and the numerals) and softly rounded bowls (C/G/O/Q). Uppercase proportions feel stately and slightly wide, while the lowercase maintains clear, open counters; the two-storey a and g and the compact, round i/j dots reinforce a traditional text rhythm. Numerals are old-style–leaning in feel through their curved, tapered forms, maintaining the same flared finish and crisp serif logic as the letters.

It performs well for editorial typography—book interiors, magazine features, and essay-like longform—where its classic proportions and flared serif detailing add sophistication. The same traits also suit display applications such as chapter openers, cultural event programs, invitations, and refined branding where a traditional voice is desired.

The overall tone is classic and bookish, with an editorial polish that reads as cultivated rather than decorative. Its flared endings and controlled contrast add a hint of hand-drawn warmth while remaining formal and composed, making it feel suited to established institutions and literary contexts.

The design appears intended to blend classical serif readability with a more expressive, flared finishing that adds personality and movement. It aims for a polished, timeless presence while keeping enough calligraphic energy to stand out in titles and pull quotes.

The font’s defining character comes from its tapered, widening stroke endings and sharp, triangular feet, which create a lively sparkle at display sizes without becoming brittle in text. Curves are generously drawn and the rhythm stays even across mixed-case settings, helping longer passages feel steady and traditional.
