A robust serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and bracketed wedge-like serifs. Strokes show a subtly sheared, calligraphic stress that gives curves a lively swing while remaining firmly upright overall. Round letters are generously filled with open counters, and joins are smooth and confident, producing a dense, even color in paragraphs. Terminals often finish in small teardrop/ball forms (notably in lowercase), adding a slightly warm, classic texture to an otherwise sturdy build.

Well-suited to headlines, subheads, and title typography where a strong serif voice is needed. It can also support editorial settings such as magazines or book typography when a dense, classic texture is desirable, and works for branding that aims for heritage and credibility.

The face conveys a traditional, authoritative tone with an editorial polish. Its strong contrast and crisp serifs read as established and reliable, while the softer terminals keep it from feeling overly austere.

The design appears intended as a conventional text serif with added punch: sturdy proportions, clear serif structure, and dramatic modulation to deliver an assertive page color and a classic, print-forward personality.

Capitals feel broad and stately, with substantial horizontals and well-defined serif structure. Lowercase shapes lean toward oldstyle influence, with rounded bowls and compact details that hold up at display sizes. Numerals are weighty and clear, matching the text rhythm and emphasizing a grounded, print-like presence.
