A monoline-leaning slab serif with sturdy, bracketed terminals and deliberately blunt joins that echo typebar impact. Strokes keep a steady rhythm with modest contrast, while curves are slightly pinched and angularized, giving counters a compact, cut-in feel. Serifs are squared and weighty, and the overall texture reads dark and even, with small irregularities that suggest ink spread or worn metal. Figures and letters share consistent widths and spacing behavior, producing a measured, mechanical cadence in lines of text.

Well-suited to layouts that want an authentic typed impression: props and interfaces for period graphics, labels and tags, and headline or short-copy settings where the dark, even texture reads confidently. It also works for editorial pull quotes and packaging accents that benefit from a mechanical, printed-on-paper feel.

The tone is matter-of-fact and archival, with a retro, workshop utility that feels pulled from typed labels, reports, or field notes. Its slightly roughened edges add a rugged, human-imperfect character without turning fully distressed. Overall it conveys practicality, documentation, and a hint of vintage grit.

The design appears intended to recreate a classic typewriter voice with robust slabs and slightly worn printing artifacts, prioritizing consistent rhythm and a convincingly mechanical texture in running text. It aims for recognizable “typed” authenticity rather than polished book typography.

Round letters show subtly flattened curves and tight apertures that increase density, while verticals and slabs stay assertive and straight. The punctuation and numerals carry the same sturdy slab treatment, reinforcing a uniform, stamped-in look across mixed content.
