A high-contrast serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation, vertical stress, and crisp, largely unbracketed hairline serifs. Capitals are tall and stately with strong verticals and tapered joins, while the lowercase shows compact proportions and a relatively small x-height that emphasizes ascenders and descenders. Curved letters (C, G, O, Q) carry sleek, tapered strokes and sharp, clean terminals; figures are similarly contrasty, with the 2 and 3 showing sculpted bowls and the 7 featuring a firm horizontal top. Overall spacing and rhythm feel measured and print-oriented, with distinct, elegant shapes that read best at display and larger text sizes.

Best suited to headlines, subheads, and prominent typographic moments where the contrast and hairlines can be appreciated. It fits fashion and culture magazines, premium packaging, book and album covers, and elegant event materials; it can also work for short editorial passages when set with comfortable size and spacing.

The font projects a refined, tradition-forward tone with a dramatic, high-fashion presence. Its sharp hairlines and disciplined structure evoke a premium editorial voice—confident, composed, and slightly theatrical—suited to sophisticated branding and headline-driven layouts.

The design appears intended to deliver a modernized classical serif voice: strong vertical structure, crisp finishing, and dramatic contrast to create a polished, high-end impression for editorial and branding contexts.

The lowercase includes a single-storey “g” with a prominent ear and a lively “y” with a curved descender, adding a subtle calligraphic spark within an otherwise formal system. Hairlines become very delicate in smaller details (crossbars, joins, and serifs), creating a vivid light–dark shimmer in text that benefits from adequate size and high-quality reproduction.
