A flared serif with gently tapered strokes and soft, wedge-like terminals that widen toward stroke endings. The letterforms are compact and slightly condensed overall, with subtle irregularity in curve tension and a lively, hand-influenced rhythm. Curves are full and rounded while joins and terminals show small flicks and nicks that keep edges from feeling purely geometric. Counters are moderately open and the lowercase maintains a steady, readable x-height, with a single-storey a and a lively, looped g contributing to an informal texture.

Well suited to book covers, chapter titles, posters, and editorial headlines where a personable serif voice is wanted. It also works for branding and packaging that aims for an artisanal or retro tone, and can hold up in short to moderate text blocks when a distinctive texture is acceptable.

The tone reads friendly and characterful, blending a vintage storybook feel with a lightly mischievous, handmade edge. Its uneven cadence and flared endings create warmth and personality, making text feel less formal and more conversational.

The design appears intended to merge traditional serif construction with calligraphic flare and slight irregularity, creating a readable face that still signals personality. The flared terminals and tapered strokes suggest a nod to engraved or brush-driven forms while keeping proportions practical for contemporary layout.

In longer text, the distinctive terminals and slightly springy spacing produce a textured color that can become visually busy at very small sizes, but feels engaging at display and comfortable reading sizes. Numerals and capitals share the same flared, softly carved look, reinforcing a cohesive, classic-yet-offbeat voice.
