This typeface presents a decorative serif construction with sharp, wedge-like terminals and pronounced internal cut-ins that create a faceted, almost stenciled silhouette. Curves are frequently interrupted by triangular notches and eye-shaped counters, producing strong figure–ground effects within bowls and along joins. Stems read sturdy and vertical while diagonals and serifs taper into knife-like points, giving the letterforms a sculpted, incised feel. Spacing and widths vary noticeably across glyphs, with distinctive, highly individualized shapes that prioritize character over uniform texture.

Best suited for display applications where personality is the goal: posters, headlines, title sequences, packaging accents, and book or album covers. It can work well for short phrases, logotypes, and thematic branding in fantasy, horror, or avant-garde contexts. For extended reading, larger sizes and generous leading will help keep the intricate interiors from clustering.

The overall tone is cryptic and theatrical, evoking occult, fantasy, and noir sensibilities. Its repeated “cut” motifs and sharp geometry lend an eerie, ritualistic flavor, while the glossy black massing and dramatic negative spaces heighten the sense of intrigue. It feels intentionally stylized and ornamental rather than neutral or purely literary.

The design appears intended to reimagine classical serif anatomy through a carved, gem-cut vocabulary—using deliberate notches and enclosed shapes to create a signature look. It aims to be instantly recognizable in display settings, offering a dramatic, emblematic presence rather than a conventional text rhythm.

Distinctive eye- and crescent-like internal shapes appear across multiple letters and numerals, creating a consistent visual signature. The numerals and punctuation carry the same carved, angular logic as the letters, reinforcing a cohesive display voice. In longer settings the strong interior apertures and notches create an animated rhythm that can feel busy at small sizes.
