A serif display face with sturdy, traditional letterforms that are heavily roughened by irregular contours and pitted interiors, creating a worn ink or eroded-print effect. Strokes keep a broadly consistent weight, while edges break into nicks and bumps that vary from glyph to glyph, producing lively texture and a slightly unstable rhythm. The proportions feel compact with a relatively low x-height and prominent ascenders, and the overall spacing reads as intentionally uneven, reinforcing the distressed, analog character.

Best suited to display settings where the distressed texture can be a feature—posters, titles, chapter heads, album or book covers, product labels, and themed packaging. It can also work for short pull quotes or branding marks that want an antique or gritty imprint, but extended body text will feel dense and visually noisy at smaller sizes.

The texture and chiseled serifs suggest age, grit, and a handmade process, evoking old printing, weathered signage, or gothic-tinged ephemera. The tone lands somewhere between antique and ominous, with a theatrical roughness that reads well for genre-forward styling.

The design appears intended to combine classic serif structure with an aggressively worn surface, mimicking degraded letterpress, stamped ink, or aged wood/metal type. Its goal is to deliver instant atmosphere and period grit while keeping recognizable, readable silhouettes.

The distressing is not uniform: some counters show pronounced speckling and bite marks, while others are cleaner, which increases the sense of organic wear. In the text sample, the broken edges visibly darken and soften at smaller sizes, so the face tends to read bolder and more atmospheric as the texture closes in.
