A calligraphic serif with lively, inked contours and noticeably irregular edges, suggesting letterpress or hand-printed texture. Strokes show clear thick–thin modulation with softly bracketed, wedge-like serifs and tapered terminals. Counters are generous and open, with a slightly uneven rhythm and small asymmetries that keep the texture organic. The lowercase forms read comfortably with a moderate x-height, while capitals are robust and slightly expansive, producing a sturdy, old-style page color.

Well-suited to editorial settings such as books, essays, and long-form reading where a classic serif voice is desired with added texture. It also works effectively for heritage branding, packaging, and posters that benefit from an aged, handcrafted feel, especially at medium to large sizes where the rough edge becomes a feature.

The overall tone feels antique and literary, with a tactile, workshop-made warmth rather than a polished modern finish. Its roughened outlines and traditional proportions evoke historical printing, folios, and storytelling ephemera.

The design appears intended to reinterpret an old-style, calligraphy-informed serif through a deliberately worn, inked finish. It prioritizes warmth and historical atmosphere over strict geometric regularity, aiming for an authentic printed texture while maintaining readable, familiar letterforms.

In the text sample, spacing and curves create a soft, rolling rhythm, while the deliberately imperfect edges add character at display sizes. Numerals and capitals carry the same rugged texture, helping headings and pull quotes feel cohesive with body text.
