A compact serif with a slightly hand-cut, irregular finish and gently bracketed serifs. Strokes stay fairly even, but edges are subtly roughened, giving counters and joints a softened, organic silhouette. Many terminals flare or fork into small spurs, and curves (C, S, O) read rounded and open rather than sharply engineered. Proportions are condensed with tight sidebearings, and the overall rhythm is lively due to small asymmetries across stems, arms, and bowls.

Well-suited to book jackets, chapter heads, pull quotes, and editorial headlines where a traditional serif with personality is desirable. It can also work for boutique branding and packaging that benefits from a crafted, vintage-leaning impression. For longer passages, it will likely perform best at comfortable sizes where the textured edges don’t crowd the letterforms.

The texture and spur-like terminals create a friendly, old-world tone that feels human and slightly rustic rather than corporate. It suggests craft printing, folk illustration, and classic storybook typography—expressive without becoming overly decorative.

The design appears intended to deliver a readable text serif skeleton while injecting character through forked/spurred terminals and a slightly distressed, hand-rendered contour. The goal seems to be a balance of classic proportions with an artisanal, expressive finish for display and editorial use.

In text, the uneven edge treatment becomes a consistent color that can feel darker and more textured than a smoother serif at the same size. The figures share the same soft, spurred finishing, helping headings and short numerals keep a cohesive, handcrafted voice.
