A heavy display serif with flared, tapering terminals and pronounced stroke modulation. Stems swell toward the ends into wedge-like, bracketed serifs, giving an incised or carved impression rather than a mechanical slab. Counters are relatively compact and the joins are firm, creating dense, dark word shapes; curves (notably in C, G, O, and S) show taut, controlled rounding with sharp finishing cuts. Lowercase forms keep a readable, traditional structure while adding stylized details such as a diamond-shaped tittle on i/j and chunky, sculpted bowls on b/p/q.

Best suited to display work where strong personality and dark color are assets: posters, headlines, packaging, mastheads, and short editorial titling. It can also support logotypes and branding marks that want a carved, heritage-leaning voice, but its dense texture makes it less ideal for long passages at small sizes.

The overall tone is dramatic and vintage, with a poster-like presence that feels theatrical and slightly gothic without becoming ornate. Its weight and carved flare cues suggest heritage, spectacle, and headline emphasis rather than quiet text neutrality.

The design appears intended to combine classic serif construction with flared, chiselled endings to create a bold, historic display texture. It emphasizes impact and character, aiming for a distinctive, old-world headline look that remains legible in short lines.

Spacing reads generous in the caps, while the lowercase appears more compact and energetic, producing a lively rhythm in mixed-case settings. Numerals are stout and attention-grabbing, matching the letterforms’ sculpted terminals and strong contrast.
