A heavy, high-contrast serif with broad proportions and a strongly sculpted, calligraphic skeleton. Strokes swell and taper noticeably, creating pronounced thick–thin rhythm, while serifs are bracketed and often flare into wedge-like terminals. Counters are generous and rounded, with softly bulging curves in letters like C, O, and S; joins and terminals feel carved rather than mechanical. Overall spacing reads open for the weight, and the figures follow the same expressive modulation, with curvy, oldstyle-like shapes and prominent stroke tapering.

Best suited to headlines and short-form text where the strong contrast and sculpted serifs can read clearly and add personality. It works well for magazine covers, theatrical or cultural posters, branding marks, and packaging that benefits from a classic-but-expressive serif voice. In longer passages it will be more effective at larger sizes where the detailed modulation and terminals have room to breathe.

The tone is bold and theatrical, blending traditional book-serifs with an expressive, almost poster-like presence. It conveys a vintage, authoritative feel—confident and slightly playful due to the rounded, swelling curves and dramatic contrast. The result feels classic and editorial, with a decorative edge suited to attention-grabbing typography.

The design appears intended to deliver a conventional serif foundation with amplified weight and contrast for display impact. Its flared, bracketed serifs and swelling curves suggest a goal of combining traditional editorial authority with a distinctive, vintage-inflected character that stands out in branding and titling.

Uppercase forms appear stable and blocky with softened corners and pronounced internal shaping, while lowercase shows lively modulation and distinct, sometimes teardrop-like terminals. The overall rhythm is energetic rather than strictly rational, and the font maintains consistent contrast behavior across letters and numerals, helping it hold together well in large settings.
