This typeface is a crisp, high-contrast serif with gently flared, tapering terminals that give strokes a subtly calligraphic finish. Vertical stems stay clean and relatively slender while curves and joins show pronounced thick–thin modulation, producing a lively rhythm in both caps and lowercase. Serifs are not blocky; instead they broaden organically at stroke ends, with smooth transitions and a slightly sculpted feel. The lowercase shows compact, neat counters and a balanced, traditional construction, with a double-storey “g” and “a” and carefully shaped bowls and shoulders that stay sharp at larger sizes.

It suits editorial typography where elegance and contrast are assets: magazine headlines, section openers, and book titling. It can also work well for refined branding touchpoints—packaging, invitations, and cultural materials—especially at medium to large sizes where the flared terminals and stroke modulation remain clear.

Overall it reads as polished and literary, with a poised, old-world sophistication. The flared endings add a graceful, slightly ceremonial tone—more refined than utilitarian—suggesting prestige and craft rather than neutrality.

The design appears intended to blend classical serif proportions with a more expressive, flared finishing, delivering a formal voice that still feels hand-influenced. Its controlled construction and consistent modulation suggest a focus on dignified display and headline use while maintaining enough regularity to set readable short passages.

Caps present a dignified, inscriptional presence with clean diagonals and controlled curvature, while punctuation and numerals carry the same sharp thick–thin logic for a consistent texture in setting. In running text the modulation is prominent, creating a bright page color and a sense of formality that benefits from comfortable spacing and line height.
