A very heavy serif with compact, blocky letterforms and softly braced, flared terminals. Strokes are broadly even, with subtle swelling where stems meet serifs and joints, creating a sculpted, carved-in feel rather than crisp hairline detailing. The capitals are wide and stable with generous, rounded counters (notably in O, P, R), while the lowercase stays sturdy and upright with a moderate x-height and short-to-moderate ascenders/descenders. Numerals are bold and billboard-like, with simple shapes and rounded interior spaces that hold up at display sizes.

Best suited to headlines and short blocks where its mass and flared serifs can read clearly—posters, mastheads, signage, and bold packaging statements. It can also work for punchy pull quotes or title treatments where a vintage, authoritative presence is desired, but it will feel dense in long passages at small sizes.

The overall tone is confident and robust, with a nostalgic, poster-era warmth. Its softened bracketing and flared endings temper the weight, keeping the voice approachable rather than severe, and giving text a classic, handcrafted solidity.

The design appears aimed at delivering maximum impact with a traditional serif voice, using flared, bracketed terminals to evoke classic print and signage while keeping forms simplified and sturdy for display readability.

The rhythm is intentionally chunky: tight internal apertures and thick joins produce dense word shapes, and the serifs read more as flared wedges than delicate finishing strokes. In the sample text, the weight creates strong emphasis and high impact, while the rounded counters help maintain clarity in large headings.
