This typeface is a display-oriented serif with sharply tapered, wedge-like serifs and strongly sculpted stroke modulation. Stems often flare into pointed terminals, creating a chiseled look where thick verticals contrast with hairline joins and cross-strokes. Capitals feel compact and monumental with crisp apexes (notably in A, V, W, Y) and deep, bracketless-looking cuts where strokes meet. Lowercase maintains a traditional, two-storey a with pronounced terminals and a slightly calligraphic rhythm; counters are relatively tight, and round letters show a distinct thick-thin axis rather than uniform curves. Numerals follow the same high-contrast logic, with bold main strokes and fine, sharp finishing details.

Best suited to headlines, magazine and editorial titling, poster typography, and brand marks where contrast and sharp terminals can be appreciated. It can work for short pull quotes or subheads, but the dense texture and delicate hairlines suggest keeping running text sizes conservative and using good print or high-resolution rendering.

The overall tone is authoritative and theatrical, balancing classical bookish cues with a fashion-forward sharpness. The aggressive contrast and pointed terminals add a sense of drama and polish, making the face feel premium and attention-grabbing rather than understated.

The design appears intended to deliver a contemporary take on a classical high-contrast serif, emphasizing flared terminals and crisp wedge serifs for a distinctive, premium display voice. It aims to produce strong impact through concentrated proportions, sharp detailing, and a dramatic thick–thin rhythm.

Spacing and letterfit read as dense in text, with prominent black shapes that create a strong typographic color. The italic-like energy comes from the internal stroke shaping rather than slant, and the flared terminals give many letters a distinctive “carved” finish that becomes more pronounced at larger sizes.
