A heavy, block-built slab serif with pronounced rectangular serifs and frequent chamfered corners that give many glyphs an octagonal silhouette. Strokes are broadly uniform but with enough internal modulation and cut-in notches to keep forms from feeling purely geometric. Terminals are blunt and squared, counters are compact, and joins are sturdy, producing a dense, high-impact texture. Proportions lean broad in capitals and numerals, while the lowercase retains stout, upright forms with short extenders and firmly bracketless slab attachments.

Best suited for large-size applications where its heavy slabs and chamfered geometry can carry visual personality—headlines, posters, event graphics, team or club branding, labels, and bold signage. It can also work for short subheads or pull quotes when strong emphasis is needed, but the dense texture may feel heavy in long paragraphs.

The overall tone is bold and declarative, evoking classic collegiate lettering and woodtype-inspired display aesthetics. Its angular cuts and blocky rhythm read as confident, rugged, and a bit nostalgic—well suited to attention-grabbing headlines and emblem-style typography.

The design appears intended to deliver a robust, high-contrast presence with a vintage display sensibility, combining slab-serif structure with angular corner cuts for a distinctive, stamp-like impact. The consistent block rhythm suggests it was drawn to hold up in bold settings such as posters, marks, and typographic lockups.

The uppercase shows consistent chamfer logic on corners (notably in round letters like C, G, O, Q), and the numerals share the same squared-off, sign-painting/letterpress feel. Spacing appears intentionally generous for display use, helping the dense shapes remain legible at large sizes.
