A calligraphic serif with sharp, wedge-like terminals and strongly bracketed serifs that taper into the stems. Strokes show pronounced thick–thin modulation and a slightly irregular edge, as if printed from worn metal type or letterpress, giving counters and curves a subtly distressed contour. Proportions are traditional and bookish, with compact lowercase and modest ascenders/descenders; round letters feel gently squarish, and diagonals (V/W/X/Y) are crisp with pointed joins. Spacing reads steady in text, while individual glyphs retain small, human variation that keeps the rhythm lively rather than mechanical.

Well-suited to long-form reading and editorial layouts where a traditional serif voice is desired, especially in books, essays, and cultural print. It also works nicely for literary titles, pull quotes, and elegant invitations where the lightly distressed texture can add warmth and authenticity. For identity work, it fits brands aiming for heritage, craft, or boutique refinement.

The overall tone is classic and literary, with an antique, tactile presence that suggests heritage printing and crafted typography. Its high-contrast sparkle and sharp serifs lend a refined, slightly dramatic voice, while the roughened texture keeps it approachable and human.

The design appears intended to capture the warmth of old-style, calligraphy-influenced serif letterforms while introducing a lightly worn, print-derived texture. It balances readability with character, aiming for a historically rooted feel that remains usable in contemporary editorial and display contexts.

Uppercase forms are stately and open, with narrow internal joins and fine terminals that create a bright texture at display sizes. Numerals are similarly high-contrast and slightly irregular, reinforcing the vintage print character across letters and figures.
