A delicately drawn serif with tapered, calligraphic strokes and pronounced contrast between hairlines and stressed stems. Serifs are small and often flared or softly bracketed, with a slightly irregular, hand-inked edge that keeps the texture lively rather than mechanical. Proportions are compact and narrow overall, with tall ascenders/descenders and modest internal counters that create a crisp, vertical rhythm in text. Curves (notably in C, G, O/Q and the numerals) show subtle swelling and thinning, reinforcing an old-style, pen-influenced construction.

Well suited to book covers, chapter headings, pull quotes, and editorial layouts where a narrow, characterful serif can add historical flavor. It can also work for boutique packaging, menus, and invitations that benefit from a refined, hand-touched look, especially at medium-to-large sizes.

The tone feels literary and antique, like printed ephemera or a storybook page, with a gentle eccentricity that reads as human and crafted. Its thin hairlines and wiry stems give it a refined, slightly fragile elegance, while the irregularities add warmth and character.

The design appears intended to reinterpret an old-style, calligraphic serif with a narrow footprint, emphasizing contrast, tapered strokes, and subtly irregular detailing to evoke traditional printing and pen-made forms while remaining readable in short text settings.

In longer passages the font forms a lightly textured color with clear word shapes, helped by tall extenders and distinct capitals. Some joins and terminals appear intentionally uneven, which can enhance charm at display sizes but also makes the face feel less formal than a pristine book serif.
