A distressed serif with sturdy, oldstyle-like proportions and visibly irregular outlines. Strokes show frequent nicks, swell-and-thin fluctuations, and occasional ink-blot interruptions, creating a worn print effect rather than smooth curves. Serifs are bracketed and sometimes exaggerated by rough inking, while counters remain generally open but appear speckled or eroded at edges. Spacing and letter widths vary noticeably across the alphabet, contributing to a lively, uneven rhythm in text.

Well suited to display typography where texture is desired: posters, book and album covers, craft packaging, and branding that aims for an antique or rugged impression. It can work for short bursts of text such as headings, pull quotes, or signage; for long passages, the heavy edge noise may feel busy at smaller sizes.

The font conveys a vintage, gritty tone reminiscent of aged printing, stamped labels, or over-inked letterpress. Its rough texture reads as tactile and imperfect, lending a handmade, slightly ominous or mysterious character when set large. In paragraphs, the consistent distressing gives the text a patina of history and use.

The design appears intended to mimic imperfect, timeworn printing by combining classic serif structures with deliberate erosion and uneven ink texture. Its variable widths and roughened terminals prioritize character and atmosphere over mechanical uniformity, producing an authentic, analog feel in both caps and text settings.

Uppercase forms feel bold and poster-friendly, while lowercase maintains legibility but with a deliberately jittery edge quality. Numerals share the same worn treatment and hold up well as display figures. The texture is prominent enough that it becomes a key design element, especially at larger sizes and in high-contrast applications.
