A heavy, display-oriented slab serif with chunky, bracketed slabs and rounded corners. Strokes are robust with visible contrast and a soft, slightly compressed rhythm that creates a compact texture in text. Many joins and inner corners show small notches/ink-trap-like cut-ins that add texture and help keep counters open at large sizes. Lowercase forms are lively and somewhat idiosyncratic, with single-storey a and g, a narrow, hooky f, and a tall b/d/l presence; the figures are similarly weighty with broad curves and sturdy horizontals.

Best suited to display settings such as posters, event titling, branding marks, packaging fronts, and short emphatic headlines where the heavy slabs and textured corners can be appreciated. It can work for brief callouts in editorial layouts, but long passages will appear dense and visually busy.

The overall tone feels theatrical and nostalgic, evoking old wood-type printing, saloon posters, and circus handbills. Its bouncy detailing and chunky slabs give it a friendly, slightly mischievous voice that reads as retro and attention-seeking rather than formal.

The design appears intended to reinterpret classic slab-serif wood type with a more playful, rounded finish and distinctive corner detailing. It prioritizes impact and personality over neutrality, aiming for high visibility and a strong period flavor in titles and branding.

In longer lines the dense weight and decorative corner notches create a dark, textured color, so spacing and size will strongly affect clarity. The strongest character comes through in capitals and numerals, where the big slabs and rounded geometry read as intentionally bold and iconic.
