A heavy, block-built slab with broad proportions and squared counters, defined by crisp chamfered corners and deep rectangular notches that read like ink traps or stencil breaks at joins. Strokes are mostly uniform with subtle internal contrast created by the cut-ins and slab junctions, producing a strong, mechanical rhythm. Uppercase forms are wide and squat with prominent slabs; lowercase follows the same architecture with a tall x-height and simplified, sturdy shapes. Numerals are equally blocky and geometric, matching the font’s squared, notched silhouette for consistent color in display settings.

Best suited to short, high-impact settings such as headlines, posters, branding marks, and bold packaging. It can also work for large-format signage and sports or event graphics where a rugged, attention-grabbing slab style is desired, while longer passages are likely most effective when set large with ample leading.

The overall tone is bold and assertive, with a distinctly Western/wood-type flavor and a vintage display attitude. The angular cut-ins add a rugged, industrial edge that feels at home on posters, team marks, and headline treatments where impact matters more than delicacy.

The design appears intended to echo chunky wood-type slabs and Western display lettering, modernized with chamfered geometry and distinctive cut-in details to increase character and texture. Its wide stance, tall x-height, and consistent block construction prioritize visibility and a strong typographic voice in display use.

The pronounced corner chamfers and internal cut-ins create a distinctive texture at text sizes, especially in dense lines, where the notches form a repeated pattern across word shapes. Spacing appears generous for a display face, helping the heavy forms remain legible despite the dense weight and strong interior shaping.
