A condensed slab-serif with heavy, uniform strokes and a strongly vertical, rectilinear build. Serifs are squared-off and unbracketed, reading as blunt terminals that reinforce a rigid, columnar silhouette. Curves are tightened into compact bowls, and many joins and counters feel engineered rather than calligraphic, producing a consistent, dark texture. Lowercase forms stay narrow and upright with compact apertures, while capitals maintain tall, commanding proportions and crisp right angles.

Best suited for short, high-impact settings such as headlines, posters, mastheads, labels, and bold signage where a dense, condensed word shape is an advantage. It can also work for branding and packaging that wants an assertive, heritage-industrial look, but will be most comfortable at display sizes where its tight apertures and heavy color remain clear.

The overall tone is forceful and utilitarian, with a vintage display flavor that recalls wood type, signage, and bold editorial headlines. Its compressed rhythm and blunt slabs convey authority and urgency, leaning toward an industrial, no-nonsense voice with a hint of Western poster character.

The design appears intended to maximize impact in narrow horizontal space while keeping a stable, architectural structure. By pairing compressed proportions with square, unbracketed slabs and low-variation strokes, it aims for a strong, reproducible display face reminiscent of classic poster and sign lettering.

The numerals and capitals read especially strong due to the dense vertical stems, and the compact spacing in the sample text creates a near-solid typographic color. Several glyphs show squared notches and cut-in details that can feel slightly stencil-like at larger sizes, adding grit and character without introducing visible stroke contrast.
