A condensed serif with pronounced vertical emphasis and striking thick–thin modulation. Stems are heavy and dark, while cross-strokes and serifs taper to fine hairlines, creating a crisp, high-tension rhythm. Serifs are narrow and sharp with minimal bracketing, and curves are tight and controlled, giving counters a compact, upright feel. Lowercase forms show tall ascenders, compact bowls, and small, precise details (including a two-storey “g” and a narrow, looped “y”), while numerals follow the same compressed, high-contrast construction.

Best suited to display settings such as headlines, magazine covers, pull quotes, posters, and brand marks where its condensed silhouette and sharp contrast can be appreciated. It can also work for upscale packaging or event collateral, especially when paired with a calmer text face for body copy.

The overall tone is assertive and sophisticated, leaning toward fashion and display typography where dramatic contrast reads as premium and attention-grabbing. Its narrow build and glossy black massing give it a poster-like presence that feels theatrical and modern-classic rather than casual.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum impact in minimal width, combining a classic contrasted serif structure with a tightly engineered, modern display stance. Its emphasis on verticality, crisp hairlines, and compact spacing suggests a focus on editorial styling and high-visibility branding rather than extended reading.

In longer lines, the dense color and tight internal spacing create a strong vertical texture; the most delicate hairlines may visually recede at smaller sizes or in low-resolution contexts. The design’s compact proportions make it effective for fitting more characters into limited horizontal space without losing a formal, editorial voice.
