A calligraphic serif with high stroke modulation and clearly bracketed serifs, showing a subtly irregular, inked texture along curves and terminals. Capitals are tall and stately with crisp hairlines and broader stressed strokes, while lowercase forms are compact with a short x-height and pronounced ascenders/descenders that create a vertical, bookish rhythm. The drawing keeps an upright posture but avoids mechanical rigidity through slightly varied stroke endings and organic edge roughness. Numerals follow the same contrast and serif treatment, with open counters and a traditional, text-oriented feel.

Well-suited to book interiors, editorial layouts, long-form reading, and literary or historical titling where a traditional serif voice is desired. It also works for invitations, certificates, and branding that benefits from a refined, old-world tone and a touch of handcrafted texture.

The overall tone is classic and literary, with an antique, printed-page atmosphere that feels both scholarly and human. Its gentle roughness and calligraphic stress add warmth and a handmade impression without tipping into overt decoration.

The design appears intended to evoke classic old-style typography with visible calligraphic roots, combining crisp contrast with a subtly worn, printed texture to feel established and human rather than sterile.

The texture is most noticeable at joins and around rounded letters, where the outlines look lightly distressed or ink-trapped, giving a period-press character. In running text the strong contrast and compact lowercase produce a lively sparkle, while the tall capitals provide a dignified presence for titling and initials.
