A forceful display serif with pronounced vertical stress and crisp, hairline serifs set against very heavy stems. Curves are broad and sculpted, with teardrop-like terminals and sharply cut joins that create small wedge notches where strokes meet. Counters are compact and the rhythm is emphatically vertical, while capitals feel expansive and weighty. The lowercase maintains a traditional structure with a moderate x-height, round i-dots, and a single-storey g featuring a clear ear and prominent contrast.

Best suited to large-scale typography such as headlines, magazine and newspaper display, posters, and mastheads where its contrast and detailing can be appreciated. It can also work well on premium-feeling packaging and book covers, particularly when paired with simpler supporting type.

The tone is bold and theatrical, channeling a classic editorial presence with a slightly baroque flair. It reads as confident and ceremonial, suited to messaging that wants to feel established, persuasive, and headline-forward.

The font appears designed to deliver maximum impact through extreme contrast and refined, classical serif construction, combining traditional proportions with attention-grabbing weight and sculpted terminals for display-centric settings.

The design shows deliberate tension between thick main strokes and delicate finishing details, creating strong sparkle at large sizes but requiring sufficient size and spacing for the finest hairlines to stay clear. Numerals follow the same sculpted contrast, with especially weighty, rounded forms and narrow interior apertures.
