A refined display serif with strong vertical stress and pronounced thick–thin modulation. Stems are dark and confident while serifs and connecting strokes often taper to hairlines, creating a crisp, high-contrast rhythm. Proportions are relatively narrow with a compact x-height, giving lowercase a tall, bookish posture and letting capitals dominate. Several characters feature delicate curls and teardrop terminals (notably in C, G, J, Q, R, S, and some figures), adding ornamental movement without fully becoming a script.

Best suited for headlines, titling, pull quotes, and other large-size settings where its hairline detailing and curled terminals can be appreciated. It can also work for short bursts of text on book covers, event invitations, packaging, or brand marks that want an elegant, slightly playful classic serif voice.

The overall tone is elegant and slightly mischievous—classic in structure, but enlivened by flourished details. It reads as theatrical and literary, with a vintage sophistication that feels suited to dramatic titles and refined branding rather than neutral text typography.

The design appears intended to blend a classical, high-contrast serif foundation with selective ornamental swashes to add personality and drama. It aims for a premium, old-world feel while keeping letterforms familiar enough for clear titling and editorial use.

In sample text, the contrast and hairlines produce a bright, sparkling texture at larger sizes, while the decorative terminals create lively word shapes. The figures include stylized forms (e.g., curled 2 and 3, a more delicate 1), reinforcing its role as a characterful display serif.
