A robust, high-contrast roman with largely straight, upright construction and crisp, squared-off terminals. Strokes alternate between thick verticals and noticeably thinner horizontals and diagonals, creating a strong typographic rhythm and clear hierarchy within each glyph. Curves are full and controlled (not overly geometric), with tight joins and subtle flare at some stroke endings, while counters remain open enough to hold up at display sizes. Uppercase forms feel broad and stable, and the lowercase shows a traditional two-storey structure where applicable, with a sturdy, compact texture in text.

Best suited for headlines, deck copy, pull quotes, and other display applications where contrast and weight can create structure and emphasis. It can work for editorial branding, packaging, and title treatments that benefit from a classic, authoritative voice, while long-body settings may require generous leading and size due to its dense overall color.

The overall tone is serious and editorial, projecting confidence and tradition rather than playfulness. Its pronounced contrast and solid weight give it an assertive, headline-ready presence that feels suited to established, print-leaning branding.

The design appears intended to deliver a traditional, print-inspired voice with strong contrast and a commanding presence, balancing crisp detailing with sturdy proportions for clear, high-impact typography.

Numerals appear sturdy and highly legible, with the same thick–thin pattern and clear silhouettes; round forms (0, 8, 9) maintain strong inner counters. Spacing in the sample text reads as dense and impactful, producing a dark, emphatic color on the page that favors short-to-medium line lengths and prominent typographic hierarchy.
