A serif typeface with softened, irregular contours and slightly ragged edges that suggest ink spread or worn printing. Strokes have moderate contrast and a calligraphic, hand-cut rhythm, with gently bracketed serifs and subtly uneven terminals. Counters are open and readable, while curves (notably in round letters) stay fairly broad, giving the face a sturdy, text-forward presence. Overall spacing reads comfortable, and the texture comes more from edge variation than from extreme distortion of proportions.

It works well for display and short-to-medium text where a vintage, crafted texture is desired—such as book covers, editorial headlines, posters, craft packaging, café menus, and identity elements for heritage or artisanal brands. At larger sizes the distressed edge detail becomes a key feature; at smaller sizes it still reads clearly but the texture compresses into a darker typographic color.

The font conveys an aged, tactile feeling—like letterpress, stamped packaging, or weathered book type—balancing friendliness with a hint of grit. Its uneven edges add character without tipping into chaos, creating a nostalgic, human tone suitable for storytelling and heritage themes.

The design appears intended to evoke traditional serif typography while introducing a deliberately imperfect, printed surface. It aims to deliver a classic reading structure with added warmth and authenticity through subtle distressing and organic stroke behavior.

Uppercase forms feel stately and traditional, while the lowercase introduces more liveliness through slightly inconsistent stroke endings and softened joins. Numerals follow the same printed, worn texture, keeping the overall color cohesive across mixed text.
