A heavy, block-built slab serif with compact proportions and softly bracketed serifs that read as squared-off terminals. Strokes are thick with moderate contrast, and many joins show small notches and stepped cut-ins that resemble ink-trap detailing, reinforcing a carved or stamped construction. Counters are relatively tight, curves are broad and simplified, and diagonals (notably in V/W/X/Y) feel weighty and mechanical rather than sharp. Numerals are robust and wide-set, matching the caps’ strong, poster-oriented rhythm.

Best suited to display applications where mass and character are desired—posters, headlines, labels, and packaging systems that want a durable, heritage-inflected presence. It can also support sports or club-style branding and short bursts of copy where the slab rhythm adds authority without becoming overly formal.

The overall tone is bold and assertive with a vintage workwear and Western-placard flavor. Its chunky slabs and notched joins create a rugged, utilitarian voice that can also feel spirited and friendly at display sizes.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum impact through stout slabs, simplified geometry, and distinctive notched detailing—evoking letterpress or cut-letter signage while maintaining a clean, consistent family feel across caps, lowercase, and figures.

Capital forms are particularly dominant and uniform, while the lowercase keeps a sturdy, simplified structure with single-storey a and g, helping maintain a consistent, sign-like texture in running display text. Spacing appears generous enough for large-setting readability, with the dense stroke weight doing most of the visual anchoring.
