A typewriter-inspired serif with soft, worn contours and irregular ink texture. Strokes are moderately contrasted with sturdy verticals and blunt, slightly bracketed serifs, but the outlines wobble subtly as if printed on absorbent paper. Counters stay fairly open, while terminals and joins show occasional blotting and bite marks that create a mottled, uneven color. Spacing and widths feel typewriter-like rather than strictly geometric, producing a lively, mechanical rhythm.

Well-suited to headlines and short-to-medium passages where a typewritten, aged impression is desired—such as posters, title cards, packaging accents, and editorial pull quotes. It can also work for themed body text when the texture is part of the concept, especially in noir, archival, or handmade print aesthetics.

The overall tone is analog and timeworn, evoking carbon copies, old reports, and photocopied ephemera. Its distressed printing texture adds grit and tension, lending a slightly ominous, noir-leaning mood while still reading as familiar and utilitarian.

The design appears intended to recreate the look of typewritten letterforms after repeated use and imperfect reproduction, combining classic serif structure with deliberate wear and ink variability. It aims to deliver immediate period flavor and tactile print character without sacrificing basic readability.

The distress is consistent across letters and numerals, with repeated edge erosion and speckling rather than random damage, so the texture reads intentional and cohesive. At smaller sizes the roughness can thicken joins and soften fine details, while at larger sizes the printed texture becomes a prominent stylistic feature.
