A heavy, all-purpose roman with intentionally irregular outlines and a rough, eroded edge texture that suggests worn type or coarse ink gain. Strokes are thick and mostly monolinear, with choppy terminals and small interior nicks that create a mottled silhouette. The proportions are generally straightforward and readable, but each glyph shows subtle shape wobble and width variation that breaks mechanical uniformity. Counters remain open enough for legibility, while the overall rhythm feels slightly jittery and organic.

Best suited to display settings where texture is part of the message—posters, cover art, apparel graphics, packaging, and branding that wants an aged or handmade imprint. It can work for short bursts of editorial display or pull quotes, while longer passages will be more successful at larger sizes and with added spacing.

The texture and imperfect printing feel give the face a gritty, workmanlike personality with a vintage, lo-fi edge. It reads as practical and tough rather than refined, evoking posters, stamped packaging, and distressed signage.

This design appears intended to deliver a familiar, sturdy letterform foundation while adding deliberate wear and edge breakup for an authentic printed or stamped feel. The goal is to provide instant atmosphere—rough, analog, and tactile—without sacrificing basic readability.

The distressed treatment is consistent across uppercase, lowercase, and numerals, with the heaviest wear appearing along verticals and curved joins. In text, the rough contour creates a dark, dense color that benefits from generous tracking and adequate size to keep the texture from filling in.
