A heavy slab-serif design with compact proportions, strong vertical stress, and noticeably roughened contours. The serifs are blocky and bracketless, and the curves are stout and simplified, giving counters a slightly pinched, irregular feel. Texture shows as chipped corners, uneven edges, and occasional ink-blob artifacts that vary from glyph to glyph, mimicking worn printing. Overall spacing feels sturdy and headline-oriented, with a lively rhythm created by the inconsistent distressing and slightly uneven stroke boundaries.

Best suited to display work where texture is an asset: posters, big headlines, product packaging, badges, and punchy branding marks. It can also work for short bursts of copy on flyers or social graphics when set with generous size and spacing to let the rough details read clearly.

The font projects a rugged, vintage energy—part saloon poster, part well-worn letterpress—while staying bold and readable. Its distressed details add grit and character, lending a playful toughness that feels handmade rather than polished.

The design appears intended to evoke worn, ink-heavy printing—like aged woodtype or distressed letterpress—while keeping a bold silhouette for strong impact. The controlled slab-serif structure provides familiarity and readability, and the irregular surface treatment supplies the theme and attitude.

The distressing is integrated into both straight strokes and bowls, creating small breaks and nicks that become more apparent at larger sizes. Numerals and capitals carry the strongest poster presence, and the lowercase retains chunky, simplified forms that keep the texture from overwhelming legibility.
