A bold, high-contrast serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and crisp, tapered terminals. Serifs are sharp and mostly wedge-like, often subtly bracketed into the stems, giving a cut, chiseled look rather than a slab feel. Bowls and rounds are broad and open, with strong vertical emphasis in the main strokes and finer hairlines in joins and cross strokes. Lowercase shows sturdy, compact counters with a two-storey a and g, a pointed, energetic r, and a t with a short, firm crossbar; numerals are weighty with old-style flavor and distinct, sculpted curves.

Well suited to editorial headlines, magazine titling, and book-cover typography where a classic serif voice is desired with extra impact. It can also serve in branding and poster work that benefits from a traditional, authoritative tone and distinctive, sharp serif detail.

The font projects a confident, traditional voice with a slightly theatrical edge. Its sharp serifs and dramatic contrast evoke classical book typography and engraved letterforms, making the tone feel established, serious, and attention-getting.

The design appears intended to deliver a conventional serif foundation with heightened contrast and width for display-driven emphasis. It balances familiar text-serif structures with more dramatic, cut-in wedge terminals to create a classic yet assertive typographic signature.

Spacing appears generous and the wide set gives lines a strong horizontal sweep, while the high contrast creates a sparkling texture at larger sizes. The wedge terminals and crisp joins can look especially striking in headlines, where the sharp details remain legible and intentional.
