A condensed serif with tall proportions and pronounced thick–thin modulation, built from straight vertical stems and tight, squared counters. Serifs are fine and sharply bracketed, with small triangular and beak-like terminals that give strokes a cut, engraved look. Corners and joins show crisp internal notches and subtle ink-trap-like shaping, reinforcing a precise, slightly mechanical rhythm. The lowercase keeps a compact, upright structure with narrow bowls and minimal curvature, while numerals follow the same tall, compressed geometry.

Best suited to display settings such as posters, headlines, magazine titling, and book covers where its tall, condensed stance can save horizontal space while still reading boldly. It can also work for branding or packaging that benefits from a refined, slightly retro serif voice, especially in short phrases or logotype-style applications.

The overall tone feels vintage and dramatic, with an old-playbill or early editorial flavor. Its sharp terminals and high-contrast skeleton add a slightly noir, display-forward presence that reads as formal and a bit theatrical rather than casual.

The design appears intended to deliver a condensed, high-contrast serif voice with crisp detailing and a distinctive, decorative construction. Its narrow proportions and precise terminals suggest a focus on impactful display typography with a period-leaning, editorial character.

Spacing and sidebearings appear tight, emphasizing verticality and creating a strong repeating column rhythm in text. At larger sizes the detailing in brackets, notches, and terminals becomes a key part of the personality, while at smaller sizes those fine features may demand careful use against busy backgrounds.
