This serif face shows a calligraphic, old-style construction with gently bracketed serifs and subtle flare at stroke endings. Curves are rounded and slightly asymmetric, giving the letterforms a lively texture rather than strict geometric regularity. Capitals feel broad and poised with tapered terminals (notably in C, G, and S), while the lowercase has compact proportions with a relatively short x-height and clear, open counters. Strokes show moderate thick–thin modeling, and the overall rhythm is slightly irregular in a natural, pen-influenced way, with varied character widths contributing to an organic line color.

It is well suited to editorial typography, long-form reading, and book or magazine interiors where a traditional serif texture is desired. The characterful capitals also make it a strong option for literary titling, institutional branding, and pull quotes where a refined, humanist voice is appropriate.

The font conveys a classic, bookish tone with a warm, human presence. Its understated elegance reads as traditional and trustworthy, with enough softness in the curves to feel inviting rather than austere.

The design appears intended to reinterpret classical, calligraphy-influenced serif forms for contemporary text setting, balancing readability with a distinctly human rhythm. Its proportions and moderated stroke modeling suggest a focus on comfortable reading and an established, cultured typographic tone.

The numerals and punctuation follow the same restrained, serifed language, maintaining continuity in texture. At text sizes the face produces a calm, slightly textured page color typical of old-style designs, with crisp entry/exit strokes and gently shaped terminals that keep lines from feeling mechanical.
