A high-contrast serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation, vertical stress, and razor-fine hairlines. Strokes often flare into wedge-like serifs, giving many letters a sculpted, chiseled silhouette rather than a purely mechanical Didone finish. Counters are generous and round forms show crisp pinch points where thick and thin meet; joins and terminals vary slightly in width, creating a lively, hand-influenced rhythm. The overall texture alternates between bold, ink-trap-like dark masses and delicate connecting hairlines, producing a distinctly animated color on the line.

Best suited to headlines, magazine and editorial titling, fashion or cultural posters, and brand marks where high contrast and delicate detailing can be preserved. It can add distinctive character to short subheads, pull quotes, and packaging panels, particularly when paired with a quieter text face. For longer passages, it will be most comfortable at larger sizes with ample leading to keep hairlines from visually collapsing.

The font reads as dramatic and style-forward, with a boutique, editorial sensibility. Its sharp contrast and expressive flaring suggest a confident, slightly eccentric elegance—more art-directed than purely classical. The tone can feel theatrical and witty in display settings, especially where its exaggerated thicks and whisper-thin details are allowed to show.

The design appears intended as an expressive, high-contrast display serif that blends classic contrast principles with art-directed, slightly idiosyncratic shaping. Its goal seems to be strong personality and visual drama, offering refined elegance without strict uniformity.

Across the alphabet there is noticeable variation in stroke expansion and terminal shaping, which contributes to an intentionally irregular, bespoke feel. Curves and diagonals (notably in letters with swashes or tapered limbs) have a calligraphic snap that emphasizes motion. Numerals follow the same contrast logic, mixing sturdy stems with extremely thin linking strokes that will benefit from generous reproduction sizes.
