A high-contrast serif with pronounced vertical stress, combining heavy, almost poster-black main strokes with very fine hairlines and needle-like serifs. The shapes feel slightly tensioned and sculptural: bowls and counters are often narrow, joins can pinch into sharp notches, and several letters show subtle flaring or wedging where strokes meet. Terminals are crisp and pointed rather than rounded, and the overall rhythm alternates between dense black masses and delicate connecting strokes, creating a lively, shimmering texture in text.

Best suited to display sizes where the hairlines and sharp notches can stay intact—headlines, pull quotes, magazine mastheads, fashion/editorial layouts, posters, and distinctive brand wordmarks. In longer text or small sizes, the extreme contrast and tight counters may reduce legibility, so it works most confidently as a statement face.

The tone is elegant but edgy—more fashion and gallery invitation than bookish classicism. Its dramatic contrasts and sharp detailing give it a cultivated, slightly eccentric personality that reads as expressive, stylish, and intentionally attention-grabbing.

The design appears intended to modernize classic high-contrast serif ideas with more angular tension and graphic punch, prioritizing striking silhouette and rhythmic black–white interplay. It aims to deliver an upscale, contemporary voice with enough quirks to feel bespoke rather than purely traditional.

Uppercase forms lean monumental with strong verticals, while the lowercase introduces more idiosyncratic modulation and narrow apertures, adding character and a faintly hand-influenced feel. Numerals mirror the same black-and-hairline interplay, with distinctive curves and tight internal spaces that emphasize the font’s display-first nature.
