This serif has a strongly formal, high-contrast build with thick vertical stems and extremely fine hairlines. Serifs are small and razor-sharp with minimal bracketing, giving terminals a crisp, cut-in look. Curves are taut and controlled, with a distinctly vertical stress in round letters, and counters stay relatively compact under the heavy main strokes. Lowercase forms read traditional and bookish, with a two-storey a and g, narrow joins, and delicate links that emphasize the contrast-driven rhythm.

Best suited to headlines, magazine mastheads, pull quotes, and large-format editorial typography where the hairlines and sharp serifs can be appreciated. It can also work for premium packaging and luxury branding when set with generous size and careful spacing.

The overall tone is polished and dramatic, projecting an upscale editorial feel. Its sharp hairlines and emphatic thick–thin transitions create a sense of refinement and ceremony, closer to fashion and cultural publishing than casual or utilitarian branding.

The design appears intended as a modern, high-contrast serif for elegant display typography, prioritizing crisp silhouettes, vertical emphasis, and a refined thick–thin cadence over ruggedness or small-size robustness.

At display sizes the contrast and hairline details feel precise and luxurious; at smaller sizes the very thin strokes may visually recede compared to the dense main stems. Numerals follow the same formal logic, with a mix of straight-backed forms and rounded figures that keep the set cohesive.
