A calligraphic serif italic with pronounced diagonal stress and lively modulation between thick and thin strokes. Serifs are bracketed and tapered, often resolving into small wedge-like terminals that reinforce a pen-drawn feel. Curves are softly modeled and slightly asymmetric, with a gently irregular rhythm that keeps the texture animated rather than mechanical. Ascenders are relatively tall and the lowercase forms lean forward with flowing joins and open counters, producing a legible, moderately compact line while still showing individual character in each form.

Well suited to book and magazine typography, especially for italic emphasis, introductions, pull quotes, and other editorial moments that benefit from a classic voice. It can also work in refined branding, packaging, and invitations where a traditional, cultured tone is desired, and performs best when given comfortable line spacing to let the slanted forms breathe.

The overall tone is traditional and literary, with an elegant, cultivated warmth. Its forward slant and pen-like contrast suggest editorial refinement and a human touch, leaning more toward classic book typography than contemporary minimalism.

The design appears intended to capture an old-style, humanist italic sensibility with visible calligraphic construction, balancing readability with a distinctly traditional, elegant texture. It prioritizes a warm, authentic rhythm and crisp contrast to evoke established print conventions.

In text, the italic angle is consistent and the stroke endings stay crisp, creating a clean shimmer at reading sizes. Capitals have a slightly ceremonial presence, while the lowercase maintains an easy, conversational cadence; numerals follow the same slanted, calligraphic logic for a cohesive color across mixed content.
