A very heavy serif with pronounced flared terminals and wedge-like, sculpted serifs that read as sharp spurs rather than flat slabs. Strokes are broadly rounded and slightly top-heavy, with compact counters and tight apertures that create a dense, poster-ready texture. Curves on letters like C, G, S, and O are full and bulbous, while joins and terminals often pinch into pointed corners, giving a carved, chiseled silhouette. The lowercase shows a single-storey a and g, a prominent ear on g, and short, sturdy extenders; numerals are similarly weighty with angular feet and strong vertical emphasis.

Best suited to posters, headlines, logos, and packaging where its dense color and distinctive flared-serifs can be appreciated. It also works well for book covers and editorial display settings that want a bold, vintage-leaning voice, especially at medium to large sizes.

The overall tone feels vintage and theatrical, blending old-style authority with a slightly playful, storybook sharpness in the terminals. Its bold, sculptural rhythm suggests headline drama and retro display energy more than quiet body text neutrality.

The design appears intended as a high-impact display serif that modernizes a carved, flared-serif tradition with exaggerated weight and pointed detailing for strong shelf presence and instant recognizability.

Spacing appears intentionally tight for impact, and the heavy black mass can cause smaller internal spaces (notably in e, a, s, and 8) to close up at reduced sizes. The flare-and-spur detailing is consistent across caps, lowercase, and figures, creating a unified, decorative texture.
