A rough, display serif with heavily distressed outlines and irregular, torn-looking edges. Strokes are moderately weighted with uneven contour wobble, creating a hand-cut or ink-bled silhouette rather than clean curves. Serifs are sharp and spur-like, often breaking into small notches, and counters appear gnawed open in places, especially in rounded forms. Proportions are compact with fairly sturdy verticals, while widths vary noticeably between letters, giving the line a restless, handmade rhythm.

Best suited to short display settings such as film and game titles, book covers, posters, event promotions, and spooky seasonal graphics where texture is a feature. It can work for pull quotes or headings, but long paragraphs will feel visually busy and may require generous size and spacing for clarity.

The texture and jagged terminals communicate tension and unease, evoking aged print, scratched signage, and horror title lettering. Its spiky serifs and eroded edges read as ominous and theatrical, with a gritty, unsettling energy that feels suited to dark narratives and supernatural themes.

The design appears intended to deliver immediate atmosphere through controlled roughness: classic serif letterforms are pushed into a distressed, torn aesthetic to suggest decay, danger, and the supernatural. The variable widths and broken contours prioritize dramatic impact over neutrality, making it a purposeful thematic display face.

In the sample text, the distressed edges remain prominent at moderate sizes, but fine notches and interior erosion can start to merge in dense passages. The numerals and capitals carry the strongest personality, with rugged silhouettes that hold up well as stand-alone marks or short bursts of text.
