A high-contrast serif with strong verticals, razor-thin hairlines, and crisp, unbracketed serifs. The proportions read broad and stately, with roomy counters and a clear thick–thin rhythm that becomes especially pronounced in curved forms and diagonals. Lowercase forms show a traditional, bookish structure with a two-storey “a,” compact apertures, and a relatively moderate x-height; dots and terminals are clean and controlled, with occasional ball-like finishing on letters such as “y.” Numerals follow the same contrast logic, mixing sturdy stems with delicate entry and exit strokes for a polished, print-forward texture.

Best suited for display typography such as headlines, pull quotes, magazine and book cover titling, and brand wordmarks that want a high-end, classical impression. It can also work for short blocks of larger text (introductions, decks, captions) where contrast and elegance are desired and output conditions are controlled.

The overall tone is refined and theatrical, with a fashion-editorial feel that signals prestige and seriousness. Its sharp contrast and clean finishing give it a formal voice suited to confident headlines, while still feeling rooted in classical serif tradition.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic, high-fashion serif look: wide, confident letterforms paired with extreme contrast and fine detailing for maximum drama and polish in display settings.

In text, the font creates a pronounced vertical rhythm: heavy stems anchor the line while hairlines add sparkle and sophistication. The heavier weight and wide stance make it impactful at display sizes, though the finest hairlines appear intentionally delicate and will read best when given sufficient size and reproduction quality.
