A tightly condensed, vertical display serif with slab-like feet and blunt, square-ended terminals. Strokes stay mostly straight and architectural, with crisp corners, small triangular notches and cut-ins that sharpen joins and add a chiseled rhythm. The forms are tall and narrow with compact counters, producing a strong vertical texture; curves are minimized in favor of faceted, almost engraved-looking shapes. Numerals and capitals maintain the same rigid geometry, creating a consistent, monoline-leaning presence with subtle contrast and emphatic serifs.

Best suited to display work where a bold, condensed voice is needed: posters, mastheads, album or film titles, and brand marks that want a gothic-industrial edge. It also fits labeling and packaging that benefits from a vintage, engraved sign-painter feel, and can work in short UI labels when size is sufficient for the tight inner spaces.

The overall tone feels gothic and industrial—stern, dramatic, and slightly ominous. Its compressed stance and blade-like detailing suggest vintage signage, pulp-era headlines, or theatrical noir titling, projecting authority and edge rather than friendliness.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum impact in minimal horizontal space while maintaining a rigid, architectural serif presence. The sharpened cut-ins and squared slabs read as deliberate styling cues to evoke classic gothic display typography and old signage, optimized for dramatic titles and compressed compositions.

The dense proportions and narrow apertures can make longer passages feel busy at small sizes, but the consistent vertical rhythm gives short lines a striking, poster-like impact. The distinctive corner notches and squared serifs become key identifiers, especially in all-caps settings and tightly tracked headlines.
