A blackletter display face with jagged, broken-stroke construction and a distinctly hand-cut texture. Stems are narrow and vertical with sharp joins, wedge-like serifs, and irregular edges that suggest pen or brush drag rather than clean geometry. Curves are compressed into faceted bowls and hooked diagonals, giving letters a tight, compact rhythm in lowercase while capitals show more pronounced asymmetry and ornamental spur shapes. Overall spacing is moderately tight and the silhouette varies per glyph, producing a lively, uneven color on the line.

Best suited to display settings such as posters, titles, packaging, and themed branding where its gothic texture can be appreciated at larger sizes. It works well for historical, fantasy, or horror-oriented applications, and for short passages or pull quotes rather than long-form body text.

The font communicates a medieval, gothic tone with an intentionally rough, weathered character. Its angular cuts and ink-like raggedness add drama and a slightly menacing, folkloric atmosphere, evoking manuscripts, woodcut lettering, and old-world signage.

The design appears intended to blend traditional blackletter structure with a deliberately handmade, distressed finish, prioritizing atmosphere and visual character over strict regularity. The irregular contours and varied stroke endings aim to mimic expressive, tool-made lettering while retaining recognizable blackletter proportions.

In text lines the strong vertical emphasis and broken forms create a dark, patterned texture; readability drops quickly at smaller sizes where interior counters and spurs begin to merge. Numerals echo the same faceted, calligraphic construction, with distinctive angled strokes and tapered ends that keep them aligned with the letterforms.
