A sharp, calligraphic display face with chiseled, irregular outlines that mimic worn printing or distressed brush/pen strokes. Strokes taper and flare with pointed terminals, and many joins show small nicks and notches that break up the silhouette. Proportions feel slightly condensed with lively width variation from letter to letter, and counters are often tight and asymmetrical. The overall texture is intentionally uneven, creating a gritty, ink-scuffed surface that stays coherent across capitals, lowercase, and numerals.

Use it for display settings where texture is an asset: posters, album or book covers, game titles, event graphics, and theatrical or seasonal promotions. It also fits branding and packaging that aims for heritage, craft, or apothecary-inspired styling, especially for short phrases, labels, and marks rather than extended body copy.

The distressed, blackletter-adjacent shapes give the font an old-world, enigmatic tone—part medieval manuscript, part weathered poster. Its rough texture reads as aged, handmade, and slightly ominous, lending dramatic character without becoming fully ornamental. The rhythm feels energetic and gritty, suited to storytelling and atmosphere-forward design.

The design appears intended to evoke aged letterforms and imperfect ink transfer, combining historical, blackletter-inspired construction with deliberate wear. Its primary goal is to deliver atmosphere and authenticity through surface texture and sharp, expressive terminals.

In longer lines, the persistent edge damage creates a strong gray texture and a pronounced “print” feel, so it performs best when given space and size. The numerals echo the same worn, tapered construction, helping headlines and titling remain stylistically unified. Pairing with a clean serif or sans can help contain the texture while keeping the distressed character prominent.
