A serif face with bracketed, slightly flared serifs and a softly modulated stroke that keeps contrast moderate rather than crisp. The outlines show deliberate roughness and ink-like texture, with subtly uneven edges that suggest impression or letterpress wear while maintaining consistent structure. Counters are open and rounded, terminals tend to be blunt or softly tapered, and the overall spacing reads comfortable and readable in running text. The roman forms feel traditional and steady, with a gently irregular rhythm that adds character without becoming chaotic.

It suits editorial design, book covers, and long-form passages where a classic serif voice is desired but a pristine finish is not. The textured presence also works well for posters, labels, and packaging that benefit from a handcrafted or heritage mood, as well as invitations and stationery aiming for a traditional yet informal tone.

The font conveys a vintage, bookish tone with a tactile, printed-on-paper feel. Its mild distressing and warm, human touch evoke older publishing, ephemera, and workshop-made materials, giving text an approachable, lived-in voice rather than a polished corporate one.

The design appears intended to deliver a familiar old-style reading experience while adding an intentionally imperfect, inked surface for atmosphere. It balances conventional letterform construction with controlled roughness to create a dependable text face that still feels handmade and evocative.

The texture is consistent across capitals, lowercase, and figures, helping the set feel unified. Numerals appear straightforward and sturdy, matching the text color and maintaining the same slightly worn edge quality seen in the letters.
