A high-contrast serif with organic, calligraphic modeling and softly bracketed serifs. Strokes show subtle tapering and slightly uneven terminals that mimic ink spread, giving the outlines a gently distressed, hand-cut feel rather than rigid geometry. Proportions are classical and readable, with moderate ascenders/descenders and open interior counters; round letters stay full while narrow letters tighten, creating a lively, variable rhythm across words. Numerals and capitals carry the same tapered, slightly roughened finishing, keeping the texture consistent in mixed text.

Well suited to book interiors, essays, and editorial layouts where a traditional serif voice and comfortable reading texture are desired. It also works effectively for literary titles, pull quotes, and packaging or branding that benefits from an antique, crafted impression without becoming overtly decorative.

The overall tone feels literary and antique, like printed text from an older edition with a touch of craft. Its warm, slightly weathered texture reads as approachable and human rather than pristine, lending a subtle storybook or historical voice to headlines and passages.

The design appears intended to blend old-style readability with a lightly distressed, print-like character, capturing the warmth of calligraphic influence while adding a tactile, inked texture. It aims to feel authentic and lived-in, offering a classic text serif presence with extra personality in display settings.

The texture is most noticeable at joins and stroke endings, where corners soften and terminals look lightly chipped or ink-worn. Despite the irregularities, the rhythm stays even in paragraphs, and the serif structure remains clear enough to preserve readability at text sizes.
