A high-contrast serif with broad proportions and strongly sculpted, flared stroke endings. Thick verticals meet hairline joins and entry strokes, creating sharp light–dark rhythm, while the serifs read as tapered wedges with gentle bracketing rather than blunt slabs. Curves are full and generously rounded, and counters stay open even in heavier shapes, supporting legibility at larger sizes. The lowercase shows a traditional, text-like skeleton with a two-storey a and g, a compact ear on g, and crisp, tapered terminals throughout.

Best suited to headlines and display settings where its contrast and flared detailing can be appreciated—magazines, book jackets, luxury branding, and premium packaging. It can also work for short editorial subheads or pull quotes when set with comfortable leading to preserve the sharp hairlines and sculpted terminals.

The overall tone feels editorial and elegant, with a confident, attention-grabbing contrast that suggests luxury and craft. It balances classical bookish cues with a more theatrical, poster-ready presence, making it feel both refined and emphatic.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic serif voice with heightened contrast and flared finishes, combining traditional proportions with a more sculptural, high-impact texture for contemporary editorial and brand use.

The numerals and capitals carry a pronounced vertical stress and strong silhouette, with pointed diagonals and crisp junctions that heighten the font’s dramatic snap. Spacing appears generous and steady in the sample text, helping dense, heavy letterforms remain readable.
