A heavy, high-contrast serif with pronounced flared/wedge terminals that widen into triangular ends rather than forming fully bracketed serifs. Strokes show strong thick–thin modulation with tapered joins and sharp internal corners, creating a carved, poster-like rhythm. Counters are relatively tight and the apertures are often narrowed by the flaring, while bowls and curves stay smooth but assertive. The lowercase keeps a traditional skeleton with a moderate x-height, and the numerals are bold and stylized, with distinct, angular terminals that match the letterforms.

Best suited to headlines and other display applications where impact and personality are desired—posters, book and album covers, magazine mastheads, and bold brand marks. It can work for short pull quotes or section headers, but the dense texture and sharp flares are most effective when given generous size and spacing.

The overall tone is bold and commanding, with a classic yet slightly eccentric, stage-poster energy. The sharp flares and extreme contrast add drama and a sense of spectacle, suggesting heritage and authority while still feeling attention-grabbing.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum visual punch through extreme contrast and flared terminals, echoing engraved or cut-letter aesthetics in a contemporary, tightly packed display serif. Its exaggerated terminals and compact counters suggest a focus on memorable titling rather than neutral text setting.

At display sizes the distinctive wedge terminals read as a unifying motif across caps, lowercase, and figures; in denser settings the tight counters and strong modulation can make texture feel dark and compact. The design’s sculpted details reward larger sizes where the crisp tapers and pointed terminals remain clear.
