A high-contrast serif with sculpted, flared terminals and bracketed serifs that feel carved rather than purely mechanical. The verticals carry most of the weight, while hairlines stay fine and clean, producing sharp, elegant joins in letters like N, V, W, and x. Bowls are generous and smooth, with moderate aperture in c and e, and a slightly formal, bookish rhythm in running text. Numerals follow the same contrast pattern, with prominent thick–thin modulation and crisp finishing strokes that keep figures clear at display sizes.

Well suited to editorial layouts, magazine typography, and book work where a refined serif voice is desired. It performs especially well for headlines, deck copy, pull quotes, and elegant brand wordmarks, and can also serve as a text face in spacious settings where its contrast has room to breathe.

The tone is polished and traditional, with an elevated editorial presence. Its flared shaping adds a hint of warmth and humanistic movement, keeping the formality from feeling cold. Overall it communicates seriousness, credibility, and a classic literary voice.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic, authoritative serif with a subtly expressive, flared finish—combining traditional letterform structure with a more sculptural stroke ending for heightened sophistication in display and editorial use.

Capitals are stately and slightly wide-feeling, with strong vertical emphasis and carefully controlled curves in C, G, and S. Lowercase shows restrained, tidy details—small, round i/j dots and compact joins—supporting a composed texture in paragraphs while still reading as distinctly display-leaning due to the contrast.
